Robert Cervelli, Executive Director, Centre for Local Prosperity<\/a> will present\u00a0\u201cRe-Localizing Prosperity in Rural Atlantic Canada\u201d<\/em>.\u00a0 <\/strong>Working alongside community groups, businesses and governments, the Centre for Local Prosperity encourages communities to move towards an economy scaled for their size and with local agency for their economic future.\u00a0 His presentation will address the need to \u2018re-localize\u2019 rural economies, reduce \u2018economic leakage,\u2019 and explore initiatives for greater local procurement by major public-sector anchor institutions such as schools and hospitals.\"\"<\/a><\/span><\/p>\n
